Dental Hygiene Assessment
Assessment and evaluation of oral tissues and tissues of the head and neck used to develop individualized care plans.
Dental Debridement
Removal of harmful bacteria (plaque and tartar) deposits and stain from teeth by scaling & root planning. This therapeutic procedure is necessary for the prevention of gum and bone disease and is recommended at regular intervals to promote oral and overall health.
Temporary Restorations
Interim stabilization therapy (IST) is used to conservatively, non-invasively, and temporarily stabilize a tooth using a white filling material with active fluoride releasing ingredients. This therapeutic intervention can be effective in situations where individuals have immediate challenges safely accessing conventional dentistry and receiving freezing and drilling. Assessment and referral is required to determine appropriateness of receiving this intervention.
Cavity Prevention and Management
Fluoride Varnish: Topical application of 5% sodium fluoride varnish for cavity prevention and relief of tooth sensitivity. Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF): Conservative and non-invasive application used to stop the spread of bacteria as a result of a cavity. This therapeutic intervention can be effective in situations where individuals have immediate challenges safely accessing conventional dentistry and receiving freezing and drilling.
Denture Care
Routine removal of harmful bacteria from dentures to prevent oral infections and discomfort. Denture labelling and referral to denturist also available as needed.
Philips Zoom Whitening
Professional light-accelerated treatment to lighten teeth up to 8 shades. Assessment is necessary prior to booking this service as it is not recommended for all.
Education Services
We provide catered educational sessions, upon request, in Long Term Care Facilities at Community Health Fairs and to Organizations on topics that promote oral health and the general well being of our community.
Insurance Claims
We accept all dental insurance plans and will manage claims on your behalf so you receive no-fuss, prompt reimbursement.
Specialized Care
Our team has specialized training to provide care to those with complex medical conditions, such as Dementia. We can be found providing care in Long Term Care and Independent/Assisted Communities, as well as at the private homes of individuals who have unique challenges getting to their routine appointments. We ensure that your loved one receives the care they need so that medical conditions and/or physical challenges are no longer barriers to receiving routine dental care.
Our care is provided safely and conveniently, either bedside or chairside, in your home or in a Long Term Care or Independent / Assisted Living facility.
